Teddy Bears' Picnic (RP with doesntdosheep)

Things had been busy on the Enterprise-D.

Morgan and Tonia had returned from the Shore Leave on Risa married, so the senior staff had thrown them a reception. Then, of course, because nothing could ever go uninterrupted on a ship by the name of Enterprise, they had been called to help a ship that had been attacked before the night was through. After helping the ship back to its home planet, they had then assisted with an outbreak in a nearby sector.

The ship was now heading back to Deep Space Nine. Leonard and Jim had both gotten the day off, but unfortunately Athena hadn't been able to since she was in the middle of a project. Leonard had suggested delaying his day off for a time when Athena could join them; however, she told them to have some fun with Jaime. Leonard had relented...while hoping that maybe she'd be able to duck out of her shift early to join them.

It was gonna be nice to spend time with Jim, though.

They'd decided to have a picnic with Jaime on the holodeck. She wanted to bring her stuffed animals, of course, so they'd turned it into a Teddy Bears' picnic. Leonard had set up the program - he'd actually gotten quite good at working with the computer on that sort of thing - and then he brought her stuffed animals down and set them up so they would be waiting when they arrived. The setting was perfect. It was a clearing in a forest with tall trees and sunlight peaking through.

Once everything was ready, he went back to their quarters to find Jim and Jaime.

"You two ready?" he asked with a grin.

Leonard grinned at Jaime as Athena spoke, her words taking a moment to sink in. Looking over at her, he felt his grin widening even more.

Pregnant. Athena was pregnant.

"That great," he said, shifting over to wrap his arms around her, hugging her tightly.

"Mama having baby?" Jaime asked.

Leonard looked over at her and nodded. "Yes. Mama is having a baby. You're going to be a big sister."

"Yay!" Jaime said, bouncing before getting up and going over to get one of her bears, which she brought back over and gave to Athena along with a cookie. "For baby!"

Athena grinned and returned Leonard's hug. When Jim scooted closer, she pulled him into the hug. She was happy that they were happy with the news.

When Jaime asked her question, then gave her the teddy bear and cookie, Athena laughed and took them. "Thank you, sweetie. You're going to be a great big sister," she said.

As Jaime laid out on the blanket, her head on Athena's lap, Athena leaned against her husbands and let out a content sigh. It really was a perfect day.

When she saw Jaime had fallen asleep, Athena smiled. "How about we pack up and get her back to our quarters and out of her bathing suit? I'm sure she'll be out for a while," she said.

"Sounds good," Jim said as he started to help Leonard help pack the basket up. He then picked Jaime up and cuddled her against him.

Leonard agreed with Athena - Jaime was going to be a great big sister. And having another baby around was going to be wonderful. He loved being a parent with his wife and husband.

As Jaime fell asleep, Leonard snuggled Athena closer as he reached over to run his fingers across the back of Jim's neck, just enjoying the moment with them. This was his family. His wonderful family.

God, he was damn lucky.

After a bit, when Athena suggested they go back to their quarters, Leonard nodded and started getting everything put away. He also gathered up all the bears and put them in the bag he had brought them down in, slinging it over his shoulder before picking up the basket.

"Let's go," he said, slipping his free arm around Athena.

In their quarters, Leonard set the basket and bag down before helping his spouses put Jaime down in her bed. After they were back in the other room, he slid his arms around Athena and kissed her again before grinning over at Jim.

"I think we should pamper our girl for the rest of the day, what do you think?"

Once they had Jaime's bathing suit off, Athena got the little girl's gown on and kissed her forehead before leaving the room. When Leonard kissed her and made his comment, she softly laughed.

"Let me get this suit off and clean up a bit," she said before she pulled away to go to the bathroom.

Once she was finished, she came back out in nothing. When Jim stared at her, she started to laugh. "Like you haven't seen me naked before, Jim," she said.

"Doesn't mean I can't stare," he said with a smirk.

Going over to her husbands, she ran her hands over them before clicking her tongue. "I think the two of you should get naked and meet me in the bed," she said.

And with that, she turned around and went to the bedroom, where she laid back on the bed and waited.

When Athena returned from the bathroom completely in the nude, Leonard found himself staring just like Jim. She was so damn beautiful, and when she ran her hand over him, he knew she felt what she did to him.

So when she suggested that they get naked and join her, he nodded, turning to Jim and giving him a smile.

"Guess we should do as she asks," he told him as he reached out and tugged his shirt off him. Once he had tossed it to the floor, he then started to undo his trousers and pushed them down over his hips.
